After weeks of collecting materials, it is finally time to get creative together. Join us for a unique and inspiring workshop where donated waste materials will be transformed into meaningful art pieces through creativity, collaboration, and sustainability. This event is organised by EUROPE DIRECT Luxembourg-Ville, in collaboration with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Luxembourg, the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg, the European Climate Pact Ambassadors in Luxembourg, the European Documentation Centre of Differdange, the City of Differdange, and Clean Something for Nothing.
Event Details
Date: Friday, 19th June 2026
Time: 17:00 – 20:30
Format: In-person
Location: 8 rue de Bonnevoie, Luxembourg Gare (Wecitizens and EUROPE DIRECT Luxembourg-Ville premises)
The workshop will also feature special interventions from:
- Anne Calteux, Head of the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg
- Tilly Metz, Member of the European Parliament
- European Climate Pact Ambassadors in Luxembourg
- Philippe Reuter, Head of the Ecological Department of Ville de Differdange
Together, the participants will explore how creativity can support sustainability and learn more about the European Union’s ambitions for a circular economy while actively contributing to positive change. The artworks created during the workshop will later be showcased in an exhibition at Europa Experience, meaning your creation could become part of the exhibition!
The waste materials will come directly from participants’ contributions. Feel free to bring your own clean waste materials to upcycle on the day of the workshop! Other materials such as canvas, glue, scissors and paint will be provided by the organisators.
Participation is free and open to everyone, but seats are limited and registration is mandatory via this link.
(If you registered but you're unable to join the workshop, please send an email to europedirectluxembourg@wecitizens-lu.com)
